COVID-19 update

We (all driving instructors) are fully vaccinated and we are glad to announce that from Friday 15th October we will reopen and accept bookings for all driver training services in Greater sydney.

The safety of our customers and instructors is our first priority. We are eager to recommence our Learner Driver Training service in Greater Sydney. Driving lessons / Learner Driver Training service will be resumed in accordance with the advice and guidelines provided by the NSW Goverment.

Let's be together to stay COVID safe and stop the spread of COVID-19 by completing the following questions. If answered 'yes' to any of them, or If anyone who has not been fully vaccinated or not willing to wear a face mask, please postpone your driving lesson to a later date. The information provided will be treated in strict confidence and will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

In the month leading up to your lesson: 

1. Have you been feeling unwell, this includes fever, coughing, sore throat or sneezing? 

2. Have you travelled overseas in the last 4 weeks, or been in contact with someone who has?

3. Are you currently in self-isolation?

4. Have you shown any symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19?

5. Are you currently staying with anyone who is unwell, in self-isolation, or has been recently tested for COVID-19?

6. Have you or anyone close to you been in contact with someone displaying symptoms of COVID-19?

7. Have you been contacted by NSW Health in the last 14 days advising you as either a close or casual contact?

8. Have you visited or reside in a COVID-19 declared hotspot declared by NSW Health?

Before you learn with us:

1. If you’re unwell leading up to your booking, please contact us at your earliest convenience to reschedule or cancel.

2. You are required to make the above COVID-19 declarations upon booking.

3. You will have hand sanitiser to use before entering and in the training vehicle.

4. Please wear a face mask at all time during the driving lesson. face masks are mandatory for both the instructor and the participant.

5. Where practical, Please respect (1.5m) social distancing.

6. Please keep the windows open to promote air flow, during training.

7. If you need to cough or sneeze, please cover your mouth and nose with your sleeve or a tissue and not your hands.

What to expect of us:

1. Our instructors are fully vaccinated.

2. Our instructors are following tightly controlled hygiene protocols and social distancing measures wherever possible.

3. If any of our staffs showing symptoms of COVID-19 or who has been in direct contact with someone who tested positive are directed to follow self-isolation guidelines.

4. If any of our staffs returning from overseas is required to self-isolate for 14 days.

5. All training vehicle touch points are thoroughly cleaned prior to each lesson ready for the next customer.

6. We’re following social distancing of 1.5m rules all the time.

7. All Instructors carry their own vehicle hygiene kit, it is free to use.

Driver testing and COVID-19

From Monday 11 October 2021, driver and rider licence testing recommence with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions across NSW.

You can expect a delay in getting a date for your licence test while Service NSW staffs catch up on the bookings backlog as a result of cancellations in areas where stay-at-home rules applied.

Once Service NSW staffs have cleared the backlog, you will be able to use online booking system to book your licence test.
